UAE calls on Muslims to sight Moon on February 28 | Ramadan 2025

The expected date for this sight has been released by the Emirates Fatwa Council, which announced it on Wednesday because the moon was not sighted on the 27th of February. The expected date according to the Islamic calendar would be 29 Sha’ban AD in the Umm Al Qura calendar. This calendar has been specifically developed by the country to figure out more about the dates and months in the country.

And this time, in 2025, The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia asked the citizens to observe the Ramadan crescent moon on the 28th of February which perfectly corresponds to 29 Sha’ban 1446 AH.
